Mission

• The Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration “Nicolae Titulescu” was established in August 2014, based on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Levantine Commission/Balkanik Handel Haus (Balkan Trade House).

• The Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration “Nicolae Titulescu” is a “private” institution and operates as educational branch within the Levantine Commission/Balkanik Handel Haus (Balkan Trade House) – Romanian legal entity registered to the Associations and Foundations Registry by the Authentication dated July 04th 2014, file no. 2700/305/2014 of the Ministry of Justice, Sfantu Gheorghe Court, Covasna county.

• The mission of the Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration “Nicolae Titulescu” is to train “commercial diplomats”, to promote the concept of “city manager diplomat” within the urban conglomerates, associations, foundations, federations and other economic and trade organizations in order to develop internal and international trade relations within the regional, national and international communities.

• The Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration “Nicolae Titulescu” and its members do not get involved in politics, its purpose being to create technical staff needed in internal and international trade relations.

• Currently, the mission of the Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration “Nicolae Titulescu” is including:

- A culture of domestic and international trade relations and action based on systematic knowledge and innovation;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations by developing personal and moral capacities;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations through lifelong learning and innovation;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations by inducing proactive attitude and participation;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations by promoting multicultural, intercultural and interreligious dialogue;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations by developing scientific and technological competence, organizational competence and civic competence;
- A culture of domestic and international trade relations, of the integration into diversity, of globalization, in terms of identity and mutual respect.

Motivation
• The Board of Directors of the Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration "Nicolae Titulescu" has decided to adopt this name in the festive meeting of 29 October 2014 taking into account that - Nicolae Titulescu - person of recognized public notoriety - Queen of Romania - through her gestures, was actively involved in international diplomacy regarding the reunification of the old provinces of Dacia in the national state of Romania.

Institute objectives
• The objectives of the Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration "Nicolae Titulescu" are to train "commercial diplomats," to promote the concept of "city manager diplomat", to create technicians, to provide some professional calibration in terms of developing the founding members and supporters of the Levantine Commission / BALKANIK Handel Haus (Balkan Trade House) and at the level of urban conglomerates, associations, foundations, federations and other organizations by improving knowledge and skills related to international trade relations field.

• The Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration "Nicolae Titulescu" will qualify also the staff having secondary education within the associated companies in Levantine Commission / BALKANIK Handel Haus (Balkan Trade House) by providing expertise and training courses in public relations, domestic and international trade relations - the persons concerned being included especially in administrative staff (assistant manager, protocol service, event management service, secretariat, archive, etc.).

• The Institute of Commercial Diplomacy and Arbitration "Nicolae Titulescu" is not intended to replace other Romanian state institutions or international structures, and in this regard, diplomas and other documents issued by the institute, in accordance with national and international law, are recognized within the associative structures or partnerships that the Levantine Commission / BALKANIK Handel Haus (Balkan Trade House) develops internally and internationally.
